Hello fellow teachers! I need to urgently brush up on curriculum design for an upcoming opportunity in general adult education. Do you have any personal recommendations to offer?

I have a number of other books on syllabus and task design (Yalden, White, Nunan, etc) but a) they may appear dated or you may want only the most "up to date" thinking, and b) I think lexical approaches cover certainly the actual linguistic essentials very well. But it might still be worth looking in the bibliographic sections of the following book (Tomlinson's Materials Development in Language Teaching), which is at least relatively recent:

Amazon has it in paperback and Kindle format.
