I know it depends on many factors and how hard one works at it....
But in places like Shanghai and the surrounding areas, how well can one do with privates.
Is the demand like it was in Korea 10 years ago? |

How well can you hide from the PSB? Teaching outside one's contract is illegal in many areas, and even if one has the permission of his employer, it still may be illegal.
In my experience, the demand for private tutors is still high in many parts of China.
If you are a good class room teacher, the private students will seek you out. Word gets out about who is a real teacher and who is a slouch. |
