I took this picture on a holiday to Singapore at Christmas. I miss the place very much from an earlier time when I used to work there.

That's a very nice photo. I hardly ever (like in never) take photos when overseas because I am usually working and it doesn't cross my mind to carry a camera. I do buy postcards. So, do many of you ESL teachers take loads of snaps while working overseas?

That is a cool shot. Where is it in Singapore?

I don't take lots of pictures because I stay in one place for a long time and the unusual starts to look fairly ordinary.

There are a couple of Merlions. The one in the picture is near Clark Quay and the big one is on Sentosa. That one has a show at night where lazers come out of his eyes and I think you can go up inside it.
