Does anyone have any experience with them? Do they hire PT? |

Yes, they suck.
Actually part time is not a bad option. When I was there it meant 2 full days on the weekend, and three evenings. Still, I reckon you can do better. |

That's full time teaching in a lot of reputable schools. How does WSI advance your long-term career?
Also, there is no "half day" of teaching. You either have to teach a class that day or not.
Evil 1 : Hmmm how do we trick these suckers, I mean FTs to work on days off?
Evil 2: Call it a half day off.
Evil 1: Brilliant! While we're at it, let's increase workloads each year but keep wages down. If they accept it, we'll call it normal. More money for us!
Evil 2: Ohhh now you're turning me on! How many hours does an FT need for sleep? 8? We can get them to work 16 hours, and it's a third of a day off!
Evil 1: Ahhhhhh I loooooooove you, Satan.
Evil 2: Mmmmmm I love you too, Lucifer. |
