My school has a few definite big problems with it and I am looking to report them the the proper authorities. Is the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare the place to look? How do I go about making an official complaint?

I'm also curious if vacation days roll over from year to year.

Use them or lose them. With seniority, you get more paid days off, but I think
20 is the most available.

Cant you get your school to get some exterminators in for this?

You have to go to the Bug Leader (He'll be the one with the tiny little hat and badge) and ask him for Bug Relocation Request Form 55R. That should do the trick.

I meant big. Typing on a phone can be a pain.

And another question if someone can answer this one. I started working at my current job at the beginning of August last year. I took vacation days around golden week on a previous contract. Once my one year rolls around is that when I will be entitled to a new set of vacation days?

Did you have to reapply for your job, or are you on an extension to your previous contract? And what exactly do you mean by "my one year"?

I did not have to reapply, I was given another contract. By "my one year" I mean one year with the school.

Short answer: probably not.

The minimum amount of paid leave an employer must grant you is:

After 6 months, 10 days.
After 18 months, another 11 days.
After 30 months, another 12 days.
and so on

(Although some employers effectively reduce this by choosing 5 of those days for you.)

So, unless your contract grants more paid leave than the law requires, you won't get more paid leave for another 6 months.
