Hi everyone,
As some may know, I'm applying to go to Spain and they demand a criminal background check from every country I have ever lived in the past five years.
I went to get it from the Japanese consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and they informed it will not be able to be produced until October. I have ordered it anyway.
However, the Spanish embassy has now informed me that they need the actual document and, no matter what, they must get it.
I'm rather livid as you can imagine and wondering how long would it take to get this document from Japan itself if I went in person? If just a week, then that'd be great as I can just take a small vacation and hang out with old friends. If a month....I'm boned.
Tell me people. What are the realities I'm facing? |

| One week. Go to the prefecture where you lived and to the main police headquarters. Return 7 days later. |
