Had an interview with this company. Was told that I was considered for the job, interviewed with a really just downright arrogant supervisor (will not be named), the sort who thinks he's a step above the rest of the ESL field. Then received word that I was not qualified. Whatever.

This is the kind of guy who arrogantly boasts about firing 10 teachers in the past month and brags about it as if trying to show some sort of heir of superiority, and then trying to pass it off as if it's the teachers fault. Sorry, but if you're going to fire 10 teachers, you must admit, it can't possibly be the teachers who are to blame. There must be a problem with the system. I know two people who have left this position in the past three months. Also, there was a report about one teacher threatening to kill another one. Whatever. Glad I wasn't accepted to work at this place. It must be a nightmare.

Yeah, and they're looking for a new supervisor. Mr. Head up his own a$$ seems to be out of there:

From what I have noticed over the years, seems to be everywhere. Just look at the governments around the world... especially our own. Laughing

It sounds like AMIDEAST made the right decision. They have certainly tended to do so over the years.

He did such a good job for them...they probably promoted him....they love a hatchet man in Saudi...I doubt that the former HOD was fired.
