My health is good, and I had passed Saudi ( and Omani) visa medicals with no problem before. However, when I tried to go to Iraq with US military in 2010, they found my liver enzymes to be too high, and I was sent back.
They had been found to be high before under unrelated routine tests, as well. No cancer, no cirrhosis, etc.
Didn't stop me from getting Saudi and Omani visas.
Now, I am noticing that the Saudis are now asking for a full lipid panel, in addition to Hep B, Hep C, syph, AIDS, etc.
Has anyone ( or anyone you know) been rejected because of high liver enzymes recently? |
