Hello,

Let's say I lose my job and they send me away.

I need to attest my reference or employment letter. Am I right?

1-Would I have time to attest them when I get fired or should I get it done now?

2-Where would I have to go? I want the address.

Is it hard to get sent away these days ? My old room mate had the hardest time to get our employer to fire him. Showing up almost nude to work worked. He had tried screaming at people, crying and pretending to pass out but the nude thing worked. I was afraid he would be put in jail or put down for having demons in him but instead he was sent back to New Zealand.

I have no clue what the answers are to your questions. I am just curious if it's easier to get sent home these days.

OMG I love you for this post 😂😂😂😂 and I must say hats off for your creative friend. The same thing crossed my mind when you said nude. Like him going to jail. Thank God that didn't happen. I have done some stupid things that's why I asked lol. Well hopeful for now I wouldn't have to worry I guess.

Cheers! 😊

The attestation of your letter of employment and reference letters would be for the next employer and is normally done outside of KSA in your home country when you are going through the visa process. Actually the whole process of attesting such items is ludicrous...

But, if you are fired, there is zero chance of your getting either of them anyway!! Laughing They tend to be hard to get from many employers when you leave as a mutual agreement.

Yep. The only type of reference you'd get is one that refers you to airport departures. Shocked

Shocked ok so I must try to BE more obedient, keep my mouth shut, and follow dress code.

I was just wondering so that when I go back home. I'm originally a high school teacher and wish to stay in the current position. BUT you know Fate when He gets in a crummy mood. So I started to wonder the next position. First time I stay in position for more than 2 yrs. this will be the third year. It kinda felt wired so I just had to ask. I just hope this is not a foreshadowing to anything. *gulp*

Thanks you guys for your reply.

VS and nomad soul how long have you two been here. You guys are so sharp in your answers. You know well.

Hugs and kisses. I know you don't to respond to my love but still I really appreciate your answers so you ll be getting a lot from me. Cheers.

What I always got was something on headed notepaper saying something like -

"John Smith taught here from ...... until ...........
He was a good teacher covering classes in Medieval French Syntax
and Applied Wafflology."

signed Abdullah Al Chamdi

The more stamps and swirly signatures, the better.

Really you teach medieval French syntax??? Kewl.

I know how an employment letter looks like. I was asking where I would take this to get it attested. Like stamps or whatever required.

Thanks scot.

Dear scot47,

Regarding my reference letters from the different Saudi directors I had:

John: Director, could you write a letter of reference for me?

Director: Ma fi mushkila - you write; I sign.

Of course, it was very difficult being modest about my abilities under such circumstances - so I didn't even try to be. Very Happy

Regards,
John

That's a great opportunity. Why should you be modest when your the only one probably doing the working. People leave at 9 for goodness sake.

AGAIN I'm asking WHERE do we attest the employment letter and references AFTER we receive them from the employer.

People I know what a reference and an employment letter come on.

John you VE been always polite in your response forgive me but I had to clear up the mini misunderstanding to many.

Regards,

Baaaaaa

Are you sure you're not channeling Lucy Ball?

Your quest for attestation is starting to take on the classic Chocolate Factory scene. Laughing

Dear baa baa,

Let me get this clear - are you asking where IN Saudi you can get an employment letter and reference letter attested?

If so, not sure if this will help:
