|
|
I have a medical check up with Education Experts near the end of August.
I have a few questions about the medical check up, as well as about the company.
1. Is the blood test and the x-ray of the chest completed together or are they done on separate dates?
2. Do they take you to the visa office on the same day?
3. How long is the process for gaining a visa?
4. Which university contracts have they lost?
5. Which university contracts have they not lost?
6. According to your previous experience, when will I fly to Saudi Arabia?
Thank you |

Here goes my confession ...
I have been hired by EDEX, and I had (have) many concerns and in fact I even expressed my concerns with them - of course they tell you want you want to hear but as long as it was written and responded to I was somewhat satisfied and I already live in Middle East so I pretty much know what to expect and then some.
Everything was done the same day, I had to visit the EDEX office first, they gave me a cheque which I took over to the Visa Office (BCS) . EDEX offered a ride but I had my own arrangements. After the Visa office, I was given the address for the medical, I went over to the first place for blood test and urine sample. I was then given address (walking distance) to another place for x-ray.
All done the same day. I did express my urgency regards to my VISA being processed ASAP as I had my flight booked to return back to Egypt.
It took around 10 days for my passport to be back in my safe hands.
I was told I can choose any date to travel to KSA (within the 90 days), I asked for their recommendation and was told 25th AUG is ideal. I initially chose SEPT so I can sort some things first.
I was then being contacted by KSA EDEX who informed me they need me in KSA for before 17 AUG, I managed to get UK EDEX to then change my request for departure for 17 AUG or soon after. This is now done, I am waiting for the ticket to be issued.
I'm a fan of horror movies .... so this all seems like an adventure. Have some contacts in KSA just in case I have mental break down |

If you had things you had to sort out for September. Why did you agree to fly out on the 17th. |

Either way, even if i was not going to Saudi my cat would need to go UK someday.. again.. sooner she goes, sooner she will bond with my family, sooner she may thank me for living in much better country |

I'm the same ... Rachel. I've been spying on her contact list on Skype since I knew I could and she's on a roll hey lol.
Have you checked out their Facebook page, and their twitter? They have named several people who they have sent off for medicals.. I wonder which one you are |

It looks like they are currently just doing females. They have told my friends (male) to wait a week or two. |
