I am looking at the company Aclipse. Has anyone worked for them? How are they? Their website mentions that you can get an ESL certification while teaching. Is that true? And, if so, how does that work?
Thanks |

Ah man. Any reasons?
Does any know programs that allow to to earn your ESL certifications while teaching for them? |

Don't know anything about this particular company but these kind of "free certificate" offers are usually the same.
You'll get worked like a dog with the dangling carrot of the "free certificate" at the end of your contract.
If you do receive something at the end it'll likely be a worthless piece of paper from their in-house training and not recognized anywhere outside of that particular company.
Places like Thailand and China seem to have a lot of these offers. Most people agree that they are best avoided. |

Some of the private language centres in China let you do a 'foundation TEFL' course before coming over (takes a few hours to complete). I assume this allows them to tick a box when applying for the relevant paperwork, which you then use to get your Z Visa.
Then when you've finished your 4 week on-the-job 'training' (basically just teaching for a month), they will print you off a piece of paper claiming to be a '120 hour TEFL certificate'.
The certificate is worthless, outside of the company. |
