				| My employer told me that she will prepare a 3 month business visa for me that I can renew in Europe. Is this a normal thing for a smaller school to do? Or is it sketchy? | |

 Costly.

A business visa is for foreigners who come to Russia on business, but are not employed by a Russian company. Such as a German salesman coming to Moscow to present his sales pitch at a trade fair. Not legal to work for a Russian company on such a visa, and you'll have to lie on the visa application forms about your (outside Russia) employer's details.

Costly in that it means a trip back home to the Russian consulate every three months. Not worth it in most cases. I'd doubt any school offering this dubious practice is paying a decent salary.

 Be careful...
