If you want to consider working for Shamal, make sure you ask everyone at Shamal the following questions:
How many teachers are working for you right now?
How many teachers have left in the last two years? Three years?
How many teachers in the last two or three years had been fired? Do the math between the first and second and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free!
Shamal does not check references! This has led to unbelievable chaos in those small offices. Horrid drunks have been hired, along with people with bipolar disorder exhibiting full blown bipolar rages. When an company does not check references, that is a red flag as far as any professional ESL teacher worth their salt is concerned.
