Hi everyone,

I've been searching the forums quite a bit and haven't found anything on Grenoble. I've been here about a week and am hoping for some advice. First of all, does anyone here have any experience of finding teaching jobs here in Grenoble?

I emailed quite a few of the schools that I could find in advance but didn't get much of a response. I've been going round to some of the schools but have discovered that quite a few of them seem to be mainly french schools so I've been re-writing my CV in French to help get past the administrative people at the door.

If I don't manage to get an actual teaching job, I was going to advertise for private tuition, but I wondered if anyone has advice on how to do this.

I'm new to ESL teaching- just got my CELTA in June (and I've got a degree in English Literature).

If anyone can offer any advice it would be great- im starting to despair a bit!
