Hi there~ Long time listener, first time caller...
I've read a fair bit about how things are regarding lifestyle and I'm interested in a move, but I'm not as aware how all things work in the ME.
I'm coming from teaching in Asia. Korea/China, about 7 years. I've a TESOL, CELTA and even PYP training.
Money discussion aside, any tips for where besides Dave's ESL and Teach Away I might find leads for jobs? Comparatively, I've seen so little advertised, it just seems odd. I know I'm being a snob keeping to the one city as an option, but really, quality of life is what it means to me.
I appreciate any help you might be able to offer. Cheers~ |

There are quite a few Saudi postings on the Cafe's job board for those with an unrelated BA, CELTA and X number of years. However, you're not likely to find much in the way of contracting companies that have projects in Jeddah universities or positions there that accept less than a related MA. That said, have you seen this position: http://www.eslcafe.com/joblist/index.cgi?read=35600 ? |
