This is a National Public Radio broadcast about five minutes long that discusses the importance of the 'little' words we use in everyday, spontaneous speech.

Only recently computer analysis is beginning to reveal which words you use and their frequency, and what this tells us about you (the speaker): your status, your gender, your age etc.
