I will move in the future.
Do I report this to the new city I am moving to? I may move to Tokyo.
Things are different than they used to be with the residence card.
I still have the old alien card.
So do I get a residence card since I will make changes?
My alien card expires in June.
I will start new work next week, so I guess I need to report that too. |

Not sure if this will help, as I have the new residence card, but if moving from one city to another, you need to inform the city hall in each city, so don't forget to inform the city you leave. |

Ok.
Thought as much.
Also, has anybody been to Tachikawa immigration? I think there is a bus. |

There is a bus, but I can't remember the number now. The bus stop is a couple of minutes walk from the office. The bus turns right around a corner and then the stop is almost immediately there. It's opposite a conbini. You walk back and go up the street that would have been straight on if the bus hadn't turned right. The office is up that street on the left. It looks like it's an industrial area or something, not like there is an office there, but once you get close you will see the signs for it. |
