Which recruiters should one avoid when searching for an ESL teaching position in Saudi ?

jsut to clarify, do you really mean recruiters or do you perhaps mean contractors?

Recruiters are a multitudinous bunch who often go by several names and are very incestuous. And they'll all tell you anything you want to hear to get you on that plane. So, there's really no 'safe' recruiter. OTOH, they have no responsibility for your work but just connecting you to your employer.

Far more important is who you end up working for (contractors or direct hire). How you are connected with them is really not that much of a deal breaker.
