Posted this on the Spain board; I'm looking for any similar experiences:
I recently got turned down for a job in Spain based on the fact that I would be bringing my boyfriend to the country with me. He wouldn't have been working at the school, but he would have been looking for work teaching English. The thing is - this is none of their business! It's absolutely ludicrous! Anyone had similar problems? |

| Does it have anything to do with the fact that he would be living with you and they are providing you with an apt? Then I guess they do have a legitimate beef, but otherwise it's none of their business. |

Nope, it�s not that as they weren�t going to offer accommodation.
The good news is - that it�s now October and they�re still advertising the job!! Ha Ha ha .... |
