Hi All,
Have been doing my research and seems that 17,000 RMB a month, with no accommodation, in Beijing doesn't seem to go as far as it did just a couple of years ago.
It seems like it would cost at least 12000 a month to live a semi frugal life, is that right?
Thanks! |

Is there a way to live on less than 12000RMB a month? |

Beijing is a huge city. Housing is pretty cheap in some of the outlying suburbs. Expensive at the city center. 3k yuan per month is reasonable for food and basic necessities. |
