Hi,

Does anyone have an recommendations for good board games for kids (for ESL purposes)?

I'm talkingabout kids from anywhere between the ages of 7 to 12 and at a variety of levels (but maily elementary to intermediate).

Thanks!

Chutes and Ladders (aka Slides and Ladders, Snakes and Ladders, etc.) can be modified for ESL. For each square a player lands on with a ladder, the player must draw a card and correctly answer a grammar question (e.g., What is the past tense of eat?) before being allowed to ascend. Conversely, players can avoid going down a slide by doing the same. I'm sure there are other variations of this and similar children's games.
