Hello friends,

So far I have applied for JET and the Hong Kong NET program for Fall 2015. I will also be applying for EPIK and GEPIK for Fall 2015.

I was wondering if there are any other government sponsored teach abroad opportunities besides those I just listed. I am looking to stay in Asia but am willing to look at similar programs elsewhere in the world.

Thanks friends!

Are you a certified teacher? There are exchange opportunities sponsored by the Canadian government.

For an adventure, do the TLG Gov't Public School Program in the Republic of Georgia.

There is the Open Doors Programme in Chile, but it pays a very tiny stipend, so probably wouldn't work for you unless you really loved that country already.

I seem to recall one from Spain as well: North American language and Culture Assistants. Specifically for North Americans of course.

For U.S. citizens, the Peace Corps, which would allow you to teach in a lot of countries where it wouldn't otherwise be economically feasible.
