The company is getting worse, if that is possible. Late payment of salaries is becoming the norm. As always, no apologies, no explanation and the phone is never answered!

In the best of places over here, the phones are never answered and teachers would never get apologies/explanations. That's why its important to get as much money as one can before signing on with any school/company. The shear amount of BS can make the best of teachers crumble and fly back home. The only thing that helps me is the stack of cash I get every month.

Hang in there. I've had a couple of teaching positions that sucked bal**, but I was stuck because of the amount of money I have invested getting the job in the first place. I forced myself to stay as long as I could in order to be in a better position next time. Save money and leave as soon as you can. I hope my advice is a little better than people saying to you, "See, I told you so".

I'm with Icanupp, the difficulties and annoyances melt away when the bank a/c grows and the long, long holidays away from the grind are fantastic....
