Overnight, Russia has made a drastic interest rate rise from 10.5% to 17% to stem the rouble decline

It hasn't worked-

1.00 RUB = 0.00823484 GBP
Russian Ruble ↔ British Pound
1 RUB = 0.00823484 GBP 1 GBP = 121.435 RUB
