Hiya,
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about E900 Language Center in Qingdao... I am thinking about heading off there on a 6 month contract so I'm looking for the inside story on the school/ Qingdao in general. First teaching job so all opinions gratefully received!

Welcome to TEFLing!
About the school, I know nothing, but the Qingdao/Shandong Area is/are gee-ooh-are-gous! It's a great place to be, slightly uncivilised, but what's to be expected!

Hi,
I have spoken to a couple of E900 teachers here in Qingdao. Both of them quit that school after discovering they were not working in qingdao but werew rather on loan to several other school as far away as 200 miles. This means they had to get up at 5:00 and get in a van and did not make it back until after dinner.
For Qingdao try QD univesity, ocean university, EF Qingdao... There are lots of schools here.
As for the nightlife... Quite a few good spots, excellent shopping etc.
I love it here..
