Hello, does anyone know about the British Arabic International School in Abu Dhabi, different from the British International School. It may have taken on a new name Sharjah British International School (SBIS). This is the website:
http://britisharabicintl.hst.im/
I just received a contract from them, based out in Abu Dhabi.
Any information would be great!
Thanks! |

Your link wouldn't open for me... their facebook page is prettty pathetic and hasn't had an update since July. I'd guess that there are few English speakers there to post on it.

Thanks for your reply.
It appears this may be a scam. I've also been informed by them and by Skyway Traveling Agency to pay $2650 via Western Union, which will be reimbursed. Strangely enough, I never even had an interview for this position. |

This is definitely a SCAM. The giveaway is when you click on 'Contact Us' where the internet country code is "im" ( Isle of Man, and often used by hackers) rather than 'ae' for the UAE.
Also they put "United Arab Emirate", not Emirates. |

Definitely asking for money for the "visa" by western union is a dead giveaway.

I wondered about that .im - had never seen it before. UAE scammers had been using .tk but I guess too many caught on to that one.
Thanks...

please note that this is a scam!!! Under no circumstances are potential employees ever to pay for their own work visas for UAE or without having to deal with UAE consulate. Please do not send any money to this company.
Legitimate companies deal with UAE ministries and visa processes as your sponsor on their own.
And no interviews take place. Obviously no quality screening taking place for teachers.
Whats even more pathetic is that a hospital form is attached for potential nurses at a hospital in abu dhabi. Its not even a legitimate application form.
You have been warned. If you still go ahead you deserve to be robbed. |
