Quick question. I am sitting here in Mexico and want to pick-up some part time work teaching English online. Used to be easy to work for the Chinese companies but a couple companies I contacted have not responded. I am still in contact via Skype with the one from before through Skype, but he has gone from a state of always being green to yellow.

Am I suddenly unemployable, or are the Chinese still in a state of New Year's hibernation? Thanks

I wouldn't fret, just be patient. Some of my students who are working stiffs, are taking extended holiday. Between this week and next week things will get back to normal. Just think about it, 1.3 billion people traveling....takes time to get home.

Cheers,
Aaron
