Do you feel that economic prospects for international teachers...
...have IMPROVED because there are more positions available than ever?
...have DECLINED because there is more competition for those positions, and because in some countries at least, compensation has not kept up with the cost of living? |

Fuzzy terms there....
International teachers as in EFL teachers with a degree and TEFL cert?
If yes then jobs exist at varying levels with various remuneration packages to choose from.
In any individual country the prospects will vary from poor (western Europe) to excellent (China) but globally it is a growth industry. Just wait for the beginning of the school year in your country of choice.
International teachers as in (licensed) teachers who are also English speakers? Job prospects have always been decent with better than average remuneration packages. It depends a lot on YOUR qualifications and country of passport.
