Hi all,
I checked around, but the information is either unclear or outdated. I am wondering what exactly I need to renew my visa. However, I am changing from ALT work to private teaching. I believe that is a Specialist in Humanities Visa. I checked on the immigration website, but there is no information. I checked this part:

It doesn't list a Sp in Humanities visa. It just has professor and instructor. I am changing my status of residence and renewing my visa at the same time. Do I need to go through the Certificate of Eligibility thing again? That would suck. |

You can't change your status of residence and renew at the same time, instead you just apply to change your status of residence.
The status is there - it is "interpreter, designer." |
