From a reliable western source: American Language Center in Ankara is a good place to work. Good hours, good conditions, good materials, great students. Pay is rather low, but it's a good door to get your foot in.

I hope you don't mind me suggesting another good place.

Active English is a good place to work in Ankara. The Director of Studies is called Thea. She is SO kind. You might not like the accommodation though.

We should hear about the great ones as well. Most, but not all, employers/admins/managers are incompetent, disrespectful, lying-*beep* scoundrels.

Forgive the bump but I'm new in Ankara and would appreciate if anyone could add to this list.

Thanks.

Interesting that language schools seem to be at the top of your list,if you have any experience or qualifications I hear plenty of schools {real ones} are in need of teachers.
Ankara is not the first location that I would go for either!
