I did, but it was awful.

I met the principal and 2 people that worked as vice principal or assistant role (I don't really know what their titles were). All three seemed nice and I accepted the job because of one of them and some good things he said.

However, I was hired through a woman named Rosa. Rosa lied and promised me high school classes. She made this same promise with other teachers.

It went downhill and worse from there. Teachers left after coming, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, etc...

Rosa and the 2nd floor manager would block any attempt to discuss issues with the principal. Maybe you have a recruiter named David, maybe they have a new one. He tried to rectify the situation by sending me to Tianjin University of Technology and Education. This proved to be an even worse experience (teacher's building was chain locked at 10pm for starters, and they wanted me to pay hotel fees until my new residence permit with them was issued).

Anyway, that is the truth. Of the 6 teachers they hired for March 2013 start, only 1 stayed on past September and he is now in another province.

If you talk to a girl named Doris, she is very nice but she is not the one who calls the shots. Make sure Rosa isn't working there. If so, you have been warned should you accept. Enjoy your housing above a gymnasium. It's like a room for a janitor to use at a public school.

In general, schools who need teachers will make it more difficult to leave. If they have enough teachers they want to make a good image so they will probably give you the release letter.

Even though my experiences were not positive with this school, the principal and 2 assistants (vice principal and another person) were very nice.

However, middle management blocked my attempts to talk with them during the year. One of the managers was called Rosa. If she is still working there I suggest you not take this job. It might be salvageable with new management.
