My school is trying to name its new computerized language lab. What's a nifty, really impressive sounding name you know of for this kind of thing?

Dear guest of Japan,
HAL - I love it.
A couple of items about HAL;

1. I don't know if it was intentional (though the odds are it was) but what's the next letter in the alphabet after H?

I

What's the next letter after A?

B

What's the next letter after L?

M

Put them together and what do you have? Why, IBM, of course.

2. When Dave gives HAL his "pre-frontal lobotomy", tha last thing HAL ever says/sings is "Daisy, Or A Bicycle Built For Two."

" Dai-sy, dai-sy, give me your answer true. I'm half cra-zy, o-ver the love of you. It won't be a sty-lish mar-riage, I can't a-fford a car-riage---. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle - built - for - two."

Bell Labs, which experimented with computerized-synthesized speech in the early 1960s, programmed a Bell computer to sing that song - the first song ever sung by a computer.
Regards,
John

My school gave our computer room the highly imaginative name "The Computer Room." Confused
