Does anyone know anything about Maz International School in Selagor? I just applied for a job there and they are looking at my application now. How easy is it to get to Kuala Lumpur from there? What are the best ESL schools in Kuala Lumpur? Is there anything to do in Selagor? Does it have any good restaurants? What are good schools to apply to in other parts of Malaysia?
I have been teaching ESL in Shenzhen, China for the past two years and my Chinese wife and I are getting tired of the pollution and all the smokers (whew do Chinese smoke a lot, even in elevators!) so we want to move to Kuala Lumpur. I have a college degree, a 120 hour TEFL and a total of three years of teaching experience.
My wife and a colleague I work with have both been to Kuala Lumpur and they each liked it a lot. By the way my wife is interested in starting a career teaching Chinese there (she is certified) so if anyone has any suggestions in this regard please let me know. |

Selangor is a state; KL is located in Selangor. A quick Google search of the school shows that it's in Shah Alam, which is about 30 mins from KL. You can take a train, bus or taxi to KL and Shah Alam has the usual selection of food courts, supermarkets and malls. |
