I was wondering how hard it is to get a Res. visa.

1. What documents do you need?

2. Can you apply within the country?

3. What is the cost for six months/one year?

I am asking this because if my Work Visa expires and I am not renewing with the present school and need time to find another employer, it would be inconvenient to have to exit the country on the date of the work visa.

I am assuming there are those of you with experience in this area. I would like to know how you handled the matter.
