Hello!
I'm currently teaching in South Korea but I am looking to move to Dalian in December or January. I was wondering if anyone can give me some information about life, salary, job availability, etc for someone with 2 years of ESL experience.
Thanks in advance |

I taught there 2004/05. It's on a par with Qingdao except beach isn't as good.
Make sure you clearly understand location of campus v your accommodation.
Several unis have moved to Lushun about 50 mins away and bus staff morning and evening.
Maritime U Technology U and Finance and Economics U are still in city.
Maybe 6K for up to 20 hours, 10K travel allowance, free accom, paid winter break.
I really do advise public unis for first China gig. You can do privates for extra cash if you keep it quiet. |
