Is there no info on Polynesia because no one is teaching there? I'm thinking of going (first) to American Samoa and then see what happens from there.

I was in Fiji a few months ago.

I heard that one of the international schools in Nadi (main tourist town)
was hiring.

But the salary was only around $800 (fijian) (400usd) per month.

Now fiji is quite an expenisve place for food and grocery items.

You could probably get some local housing for around $2-300 fjd a month.

But it would be a very frugal existance.

On the upside.. Fijians are wonderful people and would make you feel right at home.
