				| Not me personally.  However, one of my friends taught in Khartoum, Sudan, from 2011-2013, joining right after the country split. Although there were the usual infrastructure challenges, he had nothing but good to say about his students. |  |

				| Sudan used to have quite a lot of "Western" teachers working in secondary schools at minimal, local wages. A good place to gain experience, and by all accounts, tough but character-building ! |  |
