Any current experience/input about the working/living environment/conditions at either, including management and housing?
I understand the differences between the cities, but not sure about the universities themselves - except that they both seem to have pretty good reputations, I think(?).
Any relevant input is greatly appreciated.

The uni of Jed is new and a spin off from KAU. Jed is a much better place than Riyadh. But very tough place to live. |

You might give Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah a look; it's a private women's uni and is rather progressive. They usually post on higheredjobs.com. |
