My name is Ernie Danek, I've benn teaching in Dalian, at a major university for the past year.

I have a chance to teach at Maple Leaf jr. high school near Lushun next fall. The salary seems good (for China), and it's Canadian-owned.

However, the location is isolated and I suspect that they have a high turnover rate of teachers.

I just want to have information, if anybody has taught at this school recently.

i'm coming to dalian this weekend to look for a job. i work in guangxi right now, but feel like moving somewhere else after this term. do you know of any work at a university in dalian that i can look at?

One ad I kept running across was the Dalian Railroad Institute. They pay alright and it gota good review from a guy I knew that worked there. Also they have a position open at Lushun that is a wonderful little seaside town 30 -45 minutes outside of Dalian.
