Planning on coming over to Oliva (between Valencia and Alicante) and looking for work, preferably in Gandia, or Valencia. When is the best time to come over and apply in person with my CV? How long should I wait for a reply? I was thinking of coming over in June but from other posts this is prob too early?

June is a very bad time. The vast majority of language centres shut down for the summer. The only possible openings would be the odd language centre that does an intensive one month course in July, but existing teachers will usually snap up those positions. Plan on job hunting from the second week of September for 1 October starts.

Yes, June is NOT a good time to come over to Spain and look for work in person but it is possible to start looking right now on line. Schools are advertising for new staff for jobs starting in September. Yes, it may be necessary to go to Spain and look for work later, but now is a good time to send off your C.V. and do research online.
Spain is notorious for being a place where you actually have to knock on lots of doors and hand in your C.V. in person, but I did successfully line up a few Skype interviews in the U.K. And this was for jobs in Spain. One of the jobs, which I later rejected, was in Alicante or near Valencia.
If you are from the U.K. or Ireland you won't have to worry about immigration. Otherwise, if you are from another English-speaking country, you may want to consider Meddeas or other programmes which put teachers in state schools, and which grants visas.
