Greetings. Top o' the day to you all.
I'm working on deployment to KSA through Skyline Global Solutions (recruiter) to work for Al Khaleej Training & Education. (If anyone else has been through this process, ANY insights would be appreciated.)
While working through the super redundant paperwork (5 items needed to validate your diploma?) I have now gotten to the Health Check. I'm surprised it doesn't ask for a DNA sample. I'm being quoted a price for the employment physical in the range of......$800-$1,200?!? Wow. W-O-W.
Is this normal? Anyone else here been through this? (Maybe not the same company, but I assume the Physical is the same for everyone).
Any provider recommendations? (I'll be in DC for processing).
This is borderline ridiculous. When did English teaching become a top-level security clearance red tape nightmare? SMH.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Excuse my sarcasm, just in sticker shock. |

This is a standard requirement for the employment visa. See "Low-cost US med tests & exam for employment visa" http://forums.eslcafe.com/job/viewtopic.php?t=95008 (or just scroll down the forum a bit).
Also, check with the employer to see if they reimburse those costs. |
