Much depends on what the missus does and how much you got helped when you married. A lot of these Poles inherited flats.
And, lots of people do live there and are perfectly happy. I just think you have to be careful with money and plan your life a bit better.
TEFL worldwide is a shambles but there are certain things which make the Polish market particularly hard. It's not only the end of proper contracts there but it's the competition from locals and hundreds if not thousands of other native speakers.
We had it easy there in the 90s. Both times I went back to teach temporarily ie 2007 and 2014/5, I just felt like I was working my ass off for nothing.
I now make in 6 weeks what most people make in a year there and life is stress free. I miss my house there and my friends but hey ho. |

Does seem it is in a rut worldwide, with a glut of applicants, many desperate to escape the creaking eurozone and bankrupt USA. Aus is also no good unless you are working in a trade or the mines as we have read also. Zero work going in Spain unless you got experience and have been established a long time, literally zero. |
