| I'm applying for a Z visa and will commence work in September, and was wondering if my medical check would be valid if a I did it next week. |

| I never did a medical exam outside of China, but the ones I did in China were always valid for six months. |

Even if I renewed my contract at the same school, I had to get another check at the beginning of the next school year.
I wonder if the Chinese teachers who smoke 100 cigarettes a day have to get a medical too? |

| The ones done in china specifically state they are valid for 6 months. |

| I had mine done in October of 2013. I've renewed my contract twice since then and haven't had to do another medical check |
