Hi,
I'll be teaching at a Canadian international school and I was told I need to apply for the vulnerable sector check. I called Toronto police and checked their website and they mention that they don't do this check based on an individual's request rather it needs to be done through a registered agency. It looks like you can only get the form from the agency?
Here's what it says on their site:
How do I apply for a vulnerable sector screening?
A: Individuals do not apply directly to the Toronto Police Service for a vulnerable sector check. Requests for vulnerable sector screenings must be completed through organizations that are registered with our Police Reference Check Program.
Q: Where do I get the application for the vulnerable sector check?
A: The registered agency will provide you with the application form. The form is on legal-sized paper and must be signed by the agency's contact person.
Can anyone who's been through this process before advise me on what you did? Thanks! |
