				| I live in Moscow and currently do a visa run every three months to get a new Business Visa. Usually I register my visa near Alekseyevskaya metro station but this time I completely forgot and my 7 business days to do this has passed.
Does it actually matter? I've lived here for 2 years and have never been stopped and every time I've left Russia nobody at the airport has bothered to ask me for it.

Does anybody have any experience with this?

				| just like playing Russian Roulette. I wouldn't sweat it, unless they ban you from the country for 5 years. As the saying goes, money talks. | |

				| Isn't your visa stamped into the passport? Do the airport people need to ask for anything? I'm curious—I think mine was right in the passport. | |

				| Airport authorities do not need to see your city registration - indeed are not authorised to ask for it. It is only for city police and authorities. At smaller airports they might not know this and demand to see it. But in Moscow airports it usually isn't an issue. I've never been asked for mine once in ten plus years.
The only place where it might be an issue is the metro - random stops. But if this doesn't happen to you, you should be fine for the remainder of your visa. You could just come clean and pay whatever fine there is, but....
