What you label as condescending is my directness; I tend to not sugarcoat things. Regardless, if you apply elsewhere in the Gulf, be aware that visa requirements are just as anal.
And no, I don't get faloos to respond on these forums. (No one does.) I found other posters' guidance helpful when I considered teaching abroad. I now pay it forward.
