Can anyone recommend something? Preferably a short 40-60 hour course. Need to make a purchase order, so an ISBN would be handy too.

I usually teach Oil and Gas and Technical English, so I haven't really done this kind of stuff for many moons and would like summit up-to-date. |

When I taught short courses, I selected from standard course books to suit my students' needs. Anything but Headway! As you're looking for something off the shelf, take a look at Move by Macmillan:

I've never used it, but the Macmillan materials I've come across in the past have been better than most. |

				| Hehe. Well, it certainly seems that way sometimes. 'Admin staff' is a pretty generic term, but it sounds like a GE coursebook would do the trick. I like using New Total English and New English File. They're both very common and popular coursebooks. Some may say to use a BE coursebook, but I find many of them to be very unauthentic, and it seems as though many of them almost preach the audio-lingual method. |

Have a butcher's at this then:

You can download a PDF to help you decide if you want to make a purchase. And the audio too : )

But it is just general English. Nothing in it for business administration as such. For A2 I have never really seen the point... |

You could check out the new series of 'International Express' by Oxford University Press which is specifically written for adult professional learners. It is a blend of general and business English.

The student's book is combined with the workbook allowing classroom use and self study.
