Hello all,

I obtained my Working Holiday Visa in April, and began working at a Kindergarten. I really don't want to return there in September, mainly as many of the other staff are unsupportive and resentful, and don't even acknowledge me let alone say hello in the morning.

Would it be possible for me to change jobs while on this Visa? I can't find much information on this, and was hoping that one or more of you know something about it.

Edit: I should add that I want to stay in Hong Kong long-term, and switch my WHV to a working visa within the next few months.

Yes I believe you are allowed to change employers. In fact, I think there is a restriction for how long you can work for each individual employer that's based on your nationality.

Maybe they changed it but my understanding was that they won't transfer a WHV to a full working visa? That's what I was told anyways when I had emailed them a while ago just to inquiry about WHVs
