I am in the process of earning my TESOL/CELTA cetificate at SIT.
That said, I do not have a bachelors degree. Is there any realistic possibility of finding work in Japan? Any advice is appreciated.

If you are an American and single there is NO realistic chance as the degree is required in order to obtain a work visa. If you are married to a Japanese you can get a spouse visa which allows you to do anything a Japanese can do. No degree = no work visa.

A non-degree diploma will not qualify you for a working visa in Japan.

Without a degree the chances are slim; however, you may want to look into the few companies that will hire you on a working holiday visa.

Granted this is a one time deal with a 12 month set limit.

Just an educated guess but if OP is an American citizen and studying at the School of International Training (SIT) in Vermont they are S__ outa luck getting a work visa with no degree. Americans can not get working holiday visas, only Canadians, Aussies New Zealanders and British nationals.
