Me and my husband are thinking about relocating to Saudi Arabia. I used to work there from 2009 to 2013. Now I'm ready to go back now..however my husband does not have a degree.
If he comes on a spouse visa will he be able to get hired locally?
He has just finished his CELTA so I'm hoping he can find a simple job to fill his time there. He doesn't want to stay at home but I don't know just what other options he will.
Any advice will be highly appreciated.. |

It's doubtful your husband will be able to secure a teaching job due to his lack of a degree and zero post-CELTA experience. |

He could try ELS or one of the other institutes offering English classes. There are lots of them. |

Thanks for your reply. Yes I was hoping he could get a job in an institute or some sort of centre. I just wanted to know if he is on a spouse visa can he or will he be able to find a job in an institute? |

It's a risk. He may find something or he may not. It's a lot easier if you have a contact who can recommend you. He could also do private tuition? |

If you're asking if he can legally work, see "Dependents of expats can work without transferring Iqama: MoL" (dated October 24, 2014),

Definitely ask your prospective employer since you need to inform them that you expect your husband to join you. |
